welcome october

it's october. time for pumkins. cinnamon. spooky ghosts. cob webs. the air is getting crisp along with the apples. i love fall.

above is one of the pumpkins that sits on our front stoop. there are 3. everyday on his way in the house from school bb rearranges them.


on our table a little bit of the autumn harvest along with our blessing for october mealtimes.



the leaves have begun to turn. it's one of those magical times of the year where the whole world just changes colors. it's awesome, isn't it?

it's wonderful to spend time observing nature with our little ones. everyday we talk about what we see outside as so much change is happening. it's still a wonder!
